As far back as I can remember, creating things has always given me such joy. It all started with paper, crayons and colored pencils, and as the years went on, I learned to fall in love with an even greater variety of art mediums.

For over a decade I’ve been pursuing my passion of photography and graphic design. After graduating high school, I started an internship which morphed into a part-time graphic design job. I was such a newbie to the graphic design world in 2004, but I knew I loved it. Over the years I taught myself the Adobe Creative Suite, printing standards, filming and video editing, photography, illustrating, and so much about the overall creative process. Before I knew it, it had been 10 years and I was working full-time as a Creative Director, managing not only myself, but a department! These combined experiences have deepened my love and appreciate for the creative world.

In 2015 my husband and I welcomed our first daughter, and decided it was time to pivot. So I stepped down from my office job, and made the jump to work freelance. So here we are…Lyndsie Smith Design & Photography. Why both? Because I am inspired by all forms of art…typography, photography, painting, music…they all are fascinating and work beautifully together. So, whether it be logo design, a photo shoot, or simply chatting about a creative project, I love it all and would be more than happy to help make you something great!
